Track 02Non-Developers

Claude for non-developers.Learn the app by using it. Safely.

Most people use ten percent of Claude because nobody showed them the rest. This track is a working replica of the Claude desktop app with a guide beside you. You click, type and set things up yourself: projects, artifacts, connectors, scheduled tasks, privacy. Nothing is real behind it, so you cannot break anything.

Who it is for

  • Operators, marketers, analysts and founders who use Claude daily and know they are missing things
  • People who have never opened Projects, Customize or Scheduled and are not sure what they are for
  • Anyone nervous about what Claude keeps, shares or trains on
  • Teams who want everyone on one way of working with Claude

By the end

You will be able to

  • Move around the desktop app without hunting: chats, projects, artifacts, settings
  • Get useful work out of a conversation, then steer, edit and reuse it
  • Set up projects and artifacts so you stop re-explaining your context
  • Connect Google Drive and Gmail and schedule a task that runs on its own
  • Control memory, training and chat history, and delete what you want gone

Non-Developers

What you will set up, with your own hands

Every module is a short guided session inside the simulator. You do the steps, the guide explains why, and you finish knowing exactly where everything lives in the real app.

  • 01

    The desktop app

The sidebar, new chats, the model picker, where settings live. A good conversation and how to steer one.

  • 02

    Projects

A home for one kind of work, with standing instructions and files Claude reads every time.

  • 03

    Artifacts

Documents and small apps Claude makes for you. Open, edit in place, share with a link.

  • 04

    Connectors

Find them under Customize, plug in Google Drive and Gmail, understand the permission screen, use your real files in a chat.

  • 05

    Scheduled tasks

A prompt on a schedule. Build a Monday briefing and read the result it produces.

  • 06

    Privacy and memory

What is used for training, what memory stores, how to switch it off and delete everything.

Questions

Questions non-developers ask

Do I need to know how to code to use Claude Code or take this course?

No. The Non-Developers track assumes zero code and never leaves the desktop app. The Developers track assumes you already write software and want Claude Code, skills, subagents and MCP to be part of how you ship.

What does "hands-on in a simulator" mean?

The course runs inside a working replica of the Claude desktop app, in your browser. A guide tells you what to click or type, you do it, and the app responds the way the real one does. Nothing is real behind it, so you cannot break anything or spend anything, and every learner gets the same path. When you open the real app afterwards, you already know where everything is.

Can I use Claude for non-coding work like emails, reports and spreadsheets?

Yes, and that is the whole point of the Non-Developers track. You connect Claude to Drive and Gmail, set up projects for the work that repeats, turn requests into documents with artifacts, and schedule tasks that run without you.

Do I need a Claude Pro or Max subscription to take this course?

The Developers track uses Claude Code, which needs a Claude Pro or Max plan or API access. The Non-Developers track works on any paid claude.ai plan, including Pro. The course price does not include a Claude subscription.

How long does it take to learn Claude Code or finish a track?

Each module is a 15 to 30 minute guided session inside the simulator. Most people finish a track in one afternoon and come back to replay the modules they use most.
